Tonight was our first visit to your restaurant and we wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed the experience. Not just a meal but the total experience. The food was very delicious and obviously top quality. The atmosphere is the closest to perfect for our taste as we would ever find anywhere and the service was excellent. Our server was Catherine and she was absolutely wonderful and seem to have nothing but our best interest in mind. Even with her being busy with other tables we felt like we were her only customers. You should value her as a very important employee and part of The Bistro experience also we thoroughly enjoyed the Pianist Donna, very talented and very cooperative and eager to play our request. We felt very blessed to be seated next to the piano where we felt we had literally made a new Friend. We would actually consider Donna and her music as one of the reasons to return to The Bistro. However, once again the total experience was great and we will definetly return when we would like to share a good restaurant with a friend or treat ourselvs to another special night out.

Sincerely James Ray Shields, Mom and Cindy.

Went here the Friday night for the first time. The service was very good, the bread and olive oil mixture they brought out was awesome. The atmosphere is nice. They have remodeled an older house into a restaurant, there was soft live piano music, and a romatic, modern feel. We got the antipasto which was also very good quality and had a great taste. The blue cheese was especially good on the platter. The menu items are pretty typical modern american-italian fare with a few new choices, but they do use fresh local ingredients from what I understand, and their menu changes seasonally. My lobster ravioli was very good, not too rich, but very tasty. My fiance's ribeye was cooked perfectly and was some of the best tasting ribeye I have ever had. That sauce on the steak had a strong mushroom flavor and was very rich for a brown sauce, but was also very good. They even cut the potatoes in to the shape of little mushrooms. An interesting touch that really made the dish feel specially prepared. Dessert was also very good. We had the layered reaspberry parfait, which was an amazingly light but sweet finish to the meal. It was the perfect after dinner touch since we were already quite full. Overall a great place with food that has been prepared so that you can tell a lot of care was put into it, and you can taste the fresh ingredients. I definetly will be trying this place again.

Loved it, excellent food!! Our first visit, definitely not our last. Have been searching for really nice fine dining in this area for four years. Top notch service too.

Excellent! Atmosphere was great! Food was great! Service was great! Enjoyed the live piano very much! A little pricey for the average couple, but worth every cent!

Delightful taste, portions and service. Live piano in airy spacious dining hall. House wine was crisp at just $4. Homemade dessert. Yummy experience. Our first time.

On our recent trip through Kentucky, we decided to see what Bowling Green is like. We drove around town and were lucky enough to stumble upon the Bistro. We were there for Sunday brunch and really had a very pleasant experience. The building itself is quite unique. It's in an old restored home with a few different dining areas, a nice bar and an outdoor patio. I had one of the specials, an Eggs Benedict plate. It was very good. It differed from the standard version as it included sliced tomatoes and, instead of hollandaise, it was topped with a cheese sauce and served with fresh fruit. Delicious! My husband had the Greek Omelet Wrap and thought it was terrific, a wrap filled with an omelet made of eggs, feta and prosciutto. I can't wait for the next trip so we can stop by for dinner.

I had the greek salad and a dish that had penne pasta, chicken, prosciutto, and shrimp in a cream sauce. Pretty rich! I went on a Wednesday and they affectionately called it Whino Wednesday i believe. 1/2 price on wine by the glass as well as 1/2 price on bottles. Too bad I had to drive back to my hotel. However, I had a great glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. The bartender, waiting staff, and owner were super friendly. I hope I get back soon!
